Overthinking? Try Under-thinking Instead!

I think you can agree it’s pretty easy to overthink even the smallest of ideas and situations. I know I am beyond guilty of correlating having a stomach ulcer simply because I ate my Chipotle too fast, and google told me so! We ALL catastrophize and spiral into warped thinking from time to time, and it’s the norm for many of us. We take an idea and think of all the possible ways our deepest fears and most daunting anxieties may be correct about something negative occurring in our lives.

Why?

Cause it’s EASY! Let’s be brutally honest for a second. It’s EASY to overthink anything literally. Finding the possible gaps and flaws is EASY to do, whether it is a social situation, medical problem, internal issue, or anything beyond. That’s why the majority of human minds default to thinking this way.

Okay, so we know what overthinking is; that’s probably why you clicked this post. We’re always looking for ways to stop and alleviate the anxiety our minds cause us from simply fantasy scenarios we make up.
