Don’t Quit, But Stop Trying So Hard….Sometimes!
I know I am not the only one who has noticed that the moment we stop trying for something we’ve been yearning to receive in life, it suddenly shows up. We set on this extravagant mission to achieve our goals and get what we want to satisfy our lives. Some of these things come quickly, and we move on to the next! Other aspects, not so much. Some things in life take time, hard work, patience, and grit before we can be rewarded. Often, it may not be the exact expectation we envision, but nonetheless, we receive what we’ve been heading toward. It is not uncommon to feel hopeless through this extended period of difficult and uncomfortable feelings and experiences. Specifically, spiraling questions depreciate one’s own individual value.
“I don’t deserve this anyway,” “When will it happen,” “It will never happen.”
And so on, all things that only exacerbate the negative feelings, primarily frustration and impatience, we are already feeling.
However, if you’re like me, which you are because we’re all human, you have noticed that progress is suddenly made the second you stop trying so hard.
For example, most self-proclaimed “Love Gurus” always say, “You’ll find love when you stop looking for it.” Well, I hate to agree, but after chasing what I thought I wanted, what was meant for me came to me…
